Cornwall
Down on the south-west coast of England is where you might be likely to find the best weather for a caravan holiday, making Cornwall a potentially great option. The Scottish Highlands
You might be foolish not to consider the home of Britain’s largest National Park, the Cairngorms, as a potential caravan holiday destination. Where else in the world can you go skiing in the mountains one day and spotting dolphins off the Moray Coast the next? There are plenty of spots for those with a passion in life, with golf, walking, rafting and fishing all popular up in the Scottish Highlands! Why not park up your caravan in the shadow of Britain’s highest peak, Ben Nevis; one of the most scenic spots in the country!
North Wales
North Wales is teeming with things to do should you decide to pitch up your caravan here. The mountains of the Snowdonia National Park could prove a formidable challenge for challenge for any walker. There are seaside towns, plenty of history and much more but, for the thrill seeking caravanner, Zip World could be a great day out! It includes two 500-foot zip lines enabling riders to travel over 100mph! There are certainly many adventures to be had in North Wales!
Northumberland
If you’re looking for tranquillity, Northumberland could be the ideal spot to take your caravan. With a population smaller than some London boroughs, England’s sixth largest county is known for its rugged coastline and rich history. For those with an eye for history, there are numerous castles that could vie for your attention as well as the ancient Hadrian’s Wall. There are few things better than enjoying a cup of tea in your caravan, so why not visit Howick Hall, the home of Earl Grey?
